  • 1. You must have a minimum 3 years of business ownership and/or senior manager experience in the past 5 years to be eligible to apply to the MPNP.
  • 2. To qualify as a business owner you must have a minimum 3 years of business ownership experience in the past five years. To be considered as a business owner, your share ownership must be at least 33.33%.
  • 3. Add your non-concurrent business ownership experience and senior manager experience to count your total years of experience.
  • 4. Enter only full years of experience. Do not round up your years of experience.

You or your accompanying spouse/common-law partner have completed a program of full-time study for at least one year at a post-secondary institution in Manitoba. You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner must have done this after you turned 18 years old and with a valid study permit; and/or You or your accompanying spouse/common-law partner have completed at least six months of continuous full time employment in Manitoba.
