The TRV, also known as a visitor visa, is a document issued by a Canadian Immigration Visa Office located outside of Canada. It indicates that the holder has met the criteria for entry into Canada as a visitor.<br \/>\nCanada annually receives numerous temporary residents (non-immigrants) who come for various purposes. These include tourists exploring the country, such as those visiting for leisure or business, individuals visiting friends and family, and those who are considering permanent immigration.<br \/>\nTemporary Resident Visas (TRVs) can be issued as either single-entry or multiple-entry permits. Generally, tourists are granted a stay of six months.<br \/>\nVisitor visas permit foreign nationals to reside in Canada legally for a maximum of six months, with their legal status ending and requiring departure at the end of this period. However, If someone wishes to prolong their stay beyond six months, they must apply for an extension 30 days prior to the current status expiring.
